1. About us
BestSolarPanels.uk is operated by Pro Supply Group LTD, company number 15818932, registered in England and Wales. Contact: info@prosupplygroup.co.uk.
2. What our service is — and is not
- We are an independent comparison and introduction service for solar photovoltaic and battery storage installations in the United Kingdom.
- We do not survey properties, supply equipment, carry out installations, arrange finance or provide regulated advice.
- Any contract for a survey, supply, installation or finance is made directly between you and the installation company. We are not a party to it and cannot vary or enforce it.
- Introductions are free to you. We are paid by installation companies — see our affiliate disclosure.
3. Eligibility and accurate information
You must be at least 18, resident in the UK and either the owner of the property or authorised to request work on it. You agree that the information you submit is accurate and that you will tell us if it changes. Submitting another person’s details without their permission is not permitted.
4. Quotes, estimates and no obligation
- Figures shown by our calculators are indicative estimates based on the information you enter and published industry data. They are not quotations, offers or guarantees of savings, generation or payback.
- Only a written quotation from an installer following a survey is binding, and only on that installer.
- You are under no obligation to proceed with any installer we introduce, and you may withdraw at any time.
5. Installer selection
We aim to introduce you to no more than three installation companies. We carry out reasonable checks on the companies we work with, including their certification and insurance status, and we ask them to keep those in force. Those checks are not a guarantee of workmanship, financial standing or continued accreditation, and you should carry out your own due diligence before signing anything.
6. Your consumer rights with installers
Contracts you sign at home or away from an installer’s premises are normally covered by the Consumer Contracts (Information, Cancellation and Additional Charges) Regulations 2013, which usually give you 14 days to cancel. The Consumer Rights Act 2015 requires work to be carried out with reasonable care and skill. Consumer codes such as RECC and HIES provide further protection where the installer is a member. Nothing in these terms affects your statutory rights.
7. Acceptable use
- Do not use the site unlawfully, fraudulently or to submit false enquiries.
- Do not scrape, copy, republish or resell our content, data or comparison tables without written permission.
- Do not attempt to gain unauthorised access to our systems or interfere with the site's operation.
8. Intellectual property
All content on this site, including text, comparison tables, calculators, design and branding, is owned by us or our licensors and is protected by copyright and other rights. You may view and print pages for your own non-commercial use only.
9. Our liability
We provide the site and our estimates with reasonable care and skill, but we do not guarantee that content is complete, current or error free, nor that the site will be uninterrupted. To the extent permitted by law we are not liable for the acts, omissions, workmanship, pricing or contractual conduct of any installation company, nor for indirect or consequential loss, loss of profit or loss of anticipated savings. Nothing excludes or limits our liability for death or personal injury caused by negligence, fraud, or any liability that cannot be excluded under UK law.
10. Third-party links
Links to third-party websites are provided for convenience. We do not control and are not responsible for their content or practices.
11. Complaints
Email info@prosupplygroup.co.uk. We acknowledge complaints within 5 working days and aim to resolve them within 20 working days. Complaints about an installation should be raised with the installer and, if unresolved, with their consumer code body (for example RECC or HIES).
12. Changes, suspension and termination
We may amend these terms or the site at any time. Continued use after a change means you accept the updated terms. We may suspend access where use breaches these terms.
13. Governing law
These terms are governed by the laws of England and Wales, and the courts of England and Wales have exclusive jurisdiction, save that consumers resident in Scotland or Northern Ireland may bring proceedings in their local courts.
